Tayview Medical Practice, a progressive training practice serving approximately 9,700 patients across two health boards in Newport on Tay, is seeking an ambitious and proactive Business Manager to join our team. Located in a modern healthcare premise, we work closely with the wider community providing services to local Care Homes and in a teaching capacity for University of Dundee undergraduates and postgraduate GP training.

Company Overview

We are a friendly, young-ish and progressive training Practice comprising a team of seven GP Partners working alongside GP trainees, Practice nurses and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Our team is looking to appoint a business manager who is able to deliver our practice vision whilst maintaining operational efficiency.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experienced leadership and strategic business management skills, as well as operational & organisational skills for overseeing the day to day management of the practice. Effective team working skills, including experience of managing and developing staff, are also essential. The successful applicant must have proven HR skills with knowledge of current employment legislation, excellent communication skills, and proficient IT skills.

Benefits

In exchange for your skills and experience, we offer:

  • 37.5 hours per week to be worked over 4-5 days, Monday to Friday (to be negotiated with the successful candidate)
  • 28 days annual leave plus 10 public holidays with additional leave granted in recognition of long service
  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on skills and experience
  • Enrolment within the NHS pension scheme
