Children's Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Children's Nurse in a home care setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to children in their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct holistic assessments of children's needs and develop personalized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including IV therapies, as per agreed clinical pathways and within the scope of your practice.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records, ensuring timely and effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.
- Identify and report risks and incidents, adhering to contractual requirements and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Registered Sick Children's Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in an acute care setting, including independent clinical decision-making and supervising others.
- Strong understanding of therapies and drugs relevant to the service offering, including NHS knowledge relating to the management of patients with treated conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
