Children's Nurse Specialist

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Nurse/Registered Nurse to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Children's Nurse/Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to infants, children, and young people in our community setting. As a member of our team, you will work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to deliver evidence-based care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide structured clinical assessments and care plans for children and young people with acute illnesses.
- Work autonomously with families in the community setting, using robust assessment tools and digital programmes.
- Collaborate with the Children's Emergency Department and other clinical teams to ensure seamless care and support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and care coordination.
- Participate in health promotion and education activities to support the well-being of children and young people.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Registered Nurse - Child Branch or Adults nurses with Conversion certifications.
- Experience working with children in an Acute inpatient or acute community setting.
- PILS and Acute nursing skills.
