Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Program Director to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Early Years program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our young campers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Design and deliver a comprehensive Early Years program that meets the needs of our 4- and 5-year-old campers.
    • Develop and implement activities that promote learning, development, and fun.
  • Team Leadership and Support
    • Lead and support a team of Early Years staff to ensure high-quality childcare and program delivery.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure they are equipped to meet the needs of our campers.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure they are informed about their child's experience.
    • Collaborate with other camp staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our campers.
  • Administrative and Organizational Tasks
    • Manage administrative tasks related to the Early Years program, including registration, sign-in/out, and record-keeping.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including Ofsted requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education.
    • Significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-old children, including experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its application in a camp setting.
