Early Years Leader Job Description

At Ultimate Activity, we're seeking an exceptional Early Years Leader to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our camp staff, you'll be responsible for delivering a fun and engaging programme for our 4- and 5-year-old campers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of a high-quality Early Years programme, adhering to EYFS requirements and ensuring a nurturing environment for our young campers.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sports, arts, and crafts activities, tailored to the needs and abilities of our 4- and 5-year-old campers.
  • Direct and support a small team of Early Years staff, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Ensure the provision of childcare meets the needs of individual children, adhering to health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Liaise with the Camp Manager and work collaboratively to promote the welfare of our campers.
Requirements:
  • Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
  • Experience of working with children and delivering activities, with the ability to tailor delivery and structure according to age and ability.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead a group of children and interact with parents.
  • Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its application to a camp setting.
