We are seeking experienced translators and interpreters to join our team at Language Empire. As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various public and private organizations across the UK, providing high-quality interpreting services to non-English speakers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services
  • Ensuring the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaising between the service user and service provider

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
