We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children and Young People's Support Worker to join our team at The Manchester College. As a key member of our Pupil Referral Unit, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of curriculum and pastoral care for learners in under 16 education provision.
Key Responsibilities:- Support learners in overcoming emotional and behavioural barriers to learning
- Work in partnership with Manchester Secondary Pupil Referral Unit to address learner needs
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with learners, staff, and external agencies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of learner support plans
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support interventions
- Relevant Youth and Community Work qualification or equivalent
- Relevant experience working in a youth-related environment
- Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent (desirable)
- 35 days paid annual leave plus 5 bank holidays (pro-rated for weeks worked per year)
