About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Hysteroscopist to join our Hysteroscopy Team as a Lead Nurse. This is a 12-month fixed-term position that offers a unique opportunity to develop nurse-led services within Hysteroscopy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage own clinics and assess the care needs of patients referring for further investigations or consultation.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead for Hysteroscopy to critically analyze the management of cases and review decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement nurse-led services within Hysteroscopy, working closely with the Rapid Access Team.

Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • BSc in Nursing or Health Studies.
  • Independent NMP (non-medical prescriber) or willing to complete the qualification if required.
  • Leadership/management training/qualification.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Diagnostic Hysteroscopy and Therapeutic Management with accreditation to British Society Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE).
Desirable
  • Evidence of postgraduate study.
  • Counselling Course or equivalent.
  • Proven evidence of management experience and leadership qualities.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern will be any times between Monday to Friday, 07:30 am to 18:00 pm, depending on the needs of the service.
