Overview

At Infosys Limited Digital, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Architecture Specialist to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in data engineering and a strong understanding of the Energy (Oil & Gas) industry.

Job Description

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. As a Chief Data Architecture Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing data architecture and modeling solutions across various data platforms. You will work closely with business and application teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models.

Your responsibilities will include defining and governing data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models. You will also identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization.

In this role, you will work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks. You will collaborate with delivery teams, including users, data scientists, statisticians, and analysts, to develop data solutions and pipelines that meet their analytical and reporting needs.

You will assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements. Additionally, you will identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in a Data Engineering Role with an extensive understanding and practical experience on all aspects like development (AWS, CI/CD), Testing and DevOps. Hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and/or analytic databases, ETL and ELT data integration patterns, designing and building data pipelines, is also required.
