About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at Valeo Foods. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient mechanical and electrical support throughout our factory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on our machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Installation and Upgrade: Assist in the installation of new machines and upgrades, bringing fresh ideas to our production process.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our engineering team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold a relevant engineering qualification and be able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety, and safe panel entry.
  • Experience: Have experience working in FMCG operations and be familiar with complex automated cooking processes and packaging equipment.
  • Skills: Be PC literate and able to use computer-based maintenance systems, as well as possess flexibility and a health and safety-driven mindset.
Working Arrangements
  • Shift Pattern: Work night shifts, 10pm - 6am, Sunday to Thursday.
  • Salary: Receive a competitive salary of up to £57,500 per annum, depending on experience.
