About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Dual-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team at Valeo Foods UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient mechanical and electrical support throughout our factory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on our machinery, ensuring it operates at optimal levels.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Installation and Upgrade: Assist in the installation of new machines and upgrades, implementing innovative solutions to improve our production process.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the engineering team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize our production process.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualification and experience in FMCG operations.
  • Skills: Proven competency in electrical safety, safe panel entry, and machine maintenance. PC literate with experience using computer-based maintenance systems.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, health and safety awareness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Working Conditions
  • Shift Pattern: Night shifts, 10pm - 6am, Sunday to Thursday.
  • Salary: Up to £57,500 per annum, depending on experience.
