Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Manage and plan projects for a team of engineers while coordinating with project management facilities.
  2. Engineering Solutions: Deliver high-quality engineering solutions across a wide range of topics and activities.
  3. Progress Communication: Provide feedback on technical development and project delivery to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager.
  4. Mentoring: Offer technical guidance and support to team members, especially junior or graduate engineers.
  5. Time Management: Efficiently manage your time to meet agreed deadlines, target costs, and quality standards with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum 2:1 BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Relevant senior engineering experience in sectors like offshore, renewables, nuclear, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Skills: Solid background in mechanical and structural engineering, proficient with CAD software, strong mathematical skills, skilled in producing technical reports, and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Additional Information:
    • European and Offshore Standards: Familiar with Eurocode 3 and DNV.
    • Master's Degree: A plus.
    • Finite Element Analysis: Excellent skills, in-depth knowledge of ANSYS Workbench is desirable.
