Job Title: Trainee Field Engineer Driver

Berry Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Field Engineer Driver. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our existing client in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, and contribute to the success of our mechanical works site operations.

About the Role:
  • As a Trainee Field Engineer Driver, you will be responsible for safely removing and reinstalling borehole pumps and rising mains.
  • You will also be involved in cleaning boreholes using brushing and airlifting techniques, conducting acidifying treatments to enhance water flow and quality, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on borehole pumps.
  • Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
About You:
  • You will possess a full driving license and own transport, with practical hands-on experience in a mechanical engineering or construction environment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility are essential qualities for this role, as you will be required to work overtime and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Previous experience in a mechanical engineering or construction environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
What We Offer:
