About the Role:

Valeo Foods UK is a leading manufacturer of a diverse range of food products, and we're seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on our machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the installation of new machines and upgrades, bringing innovative ideas to our production processes.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to provide effective and efficient mechanical and electrical support throughout the factory.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement projects to enhance our maintenance system and processes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant engineering qualification and experience in FMCG operations.
  • Proven competency in electrical safety, isolation, and safe panel entry.
  • Proficiency in computer-based maintenance systems and ability to use them effectively.
  • Ability to strip and reassemble machines, complete machine size change procedures, and make adjustments.

Working Hours:

Our ideal candidate will work a night shift pattern, Sunday to Thursday, from 10pm to 6am.
