Transport Operations Manager

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team in Louth. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing transport plans and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Ensure Site Planners plan all relevant customer deliveries using site software to meet delivery windows.
* Liaise with customers regarding delays and potential delivery issues.
* Coordinate late load reports according to operational requirements and deadlines.
* Ensure drivers comply with the Working Time Directive and regularly download driver cards for analysis.
* Ensure Site Planners comply with all transport legislation, minimising tachograph infringements and adhering to WTD regulations.
* Communicate routes to and liaise with other depots.
* Source local agency drivers and sub-contractors as required, providing accurate job briefs.
* Manage Site Planners to ensure efficient start times and adequate driver briefings.
* Understand and communicate agreed KPIs for the department.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience in a transport or logistics role.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of transport legislation and regulations.
