We are looking for a Youth Welfare Worker to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Youth Welfare Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,793.60 - £26,083 per annum, plus £2,800 - £3,600 sleep-in payments, as well as 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • To work closely with residential support workers to deliver person-centered plans and outcomes.
  • To maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • To participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and strategies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 21 years old due to Ofsted regulations.
  • Essential driving skills due to the location of the homes.
  • No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
