Wise Employment Plymouth is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process for our client, a world-renowned manufacturer with over 350 staff. You will ensure compliance with all UK tax regulations and accurately prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately calculate wages, overtime, shift allowances, bonuses, deductions, and tax.
- Handle payroll adjustments and retroactive payments as needed.
- Assist with BACS transmissions, HMRC liaisons, SMP/SSP, and other statutory payments.
- P11D, P45's, P46's, P60's, and yearend payroll processes.
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification such as CIPP/AAT or equivalent.
- Proficient in SAP and Excel.
- Experience of complex payroll runs and shift payments, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering company.
