Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Sales Engineer LED Lighting to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Project Sales Engineer LED Lighting, you will be responsible for selling a range of LED lighting products to electrical contractors and electricians in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Field sales position selling a manufactured and distributed range of LED lighting including downlights, versatile battens, canopy, exterior wall, ground lights, hazardous, floodlights, emergency, weatherproofing, and accessories.
  2. 75% of your time stimulating demand with electrical contractors and electricians.
  3. Lighting project based sales from £5,000-£500,000.
  4. 25% back-selling through established CEF electrical wholesale dealer network.
  5. Typical projects include education, emergency services, healthcare, industrial, warehousing, office, residential, retail & leisure, and sports.
  6. Survey site installations where necessary.
  7. Support for CEF branches on lighting project enquiries.
  8. Identify opportunities by working with CEF branch network.

Requirements:

  1. Electrical field sales background, lighting preferred.
  2. Must have sold into electrical contractors/electricians.
  3. Experience of managing small to large lighting projects through survey, design, tender, and sales stages.
  4. Ideally with local electrical contractor knowledge on patch.
  5. Familiar with CRM, Microsoft 365 software.
  6. Full driving licence.
