We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire. As a key member of our catering department, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food for patients, staff, visitors, and functions.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the patient experience.
- Manage food inventory and ordering to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
- City and Guilds or equivalent culinary qualifications.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene certification.
- Manual Handling and COSHH training.
- Basic IT skills and previous experience in a busy kitchen environment.
