We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Singular Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented software engineer who wants to strengthen their skills in real-time software and develop a wider skill-set in embedded systems.

About the Role

This Embedded Software Engineer position will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing embedded real-time software. You will work closely with a dynamic team, tackling challenging real-time platform issues and implementing creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing new features in embedded software.
  • Debugging real-time issues and fixing bugs efficiently.
  • Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality code.
  • Participating in code reviews and document reviews to maintain best practices.
  • Collaborating with the wider organisation including hardware, test and integration teams.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning ability.
  • Ability to generate new ideas and approaches to problems.
  • Experience in solving complex projects and debugging issues.
  • Excellent debugging skills with tenacity to probe issues to understand their root causes.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and fault tracking tools.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (dependent on experience).
