Job Title: Host/Hostess - London

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host/Hostess to join our team at Kimpton Fitzroy London. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming Guests: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Providing Excellent Service: Offer personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Managing Front of House: Oversee the front of house area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Upselling and Promotions: Identify opportunities to upsell and promote our services and products to guests.

Requirements:

  • 2 Years' Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of POS Systems: Familiarity with Micros Simphony (POS) and OpenTable Pro (TMS) systems, or similar technology.
  • Leadership Capability: Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
