Job Description:

Teaching Responsibilities

As a Teacher of Complex Needs, your primary responsibility will be to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with complex learning requirements. You will work closely with colleagues to create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.

Collaboration and Teamwork

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and support staff, to ensure the holistic well-being of students. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience working with students with complex needs in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN practices and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
