Job Role:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked with carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site at a leading manufacturing specialist. This company produces aerospace products and has been at the forefront of their industry on an international level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Electrical fault finding and repairs.
  • CNC and PLC fault finding and repairs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor systems such as Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability-Centred Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and FMEA programs.
  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) plans.
  • Analyze and investigate equipment failures using Failure Mode Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Report conclusions to the Maintenance Supervisor and make recommendations for improved programs and practices.
  • Participate in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies.
  • Assist with facility repairs and machine relocation as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering qualification (electrical) and experience in a face-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to root cause analysis/problem solving processes.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
