Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in a manufacturing environment. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Electrical fault finding and repairs
  • CNC and PLC fault finding and repairs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor systems such as Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability-Centred Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and FMEA programs
  • Conduct analysis and investigations using Failure Mode Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys) on equipment failures that affect product quality, equipment uptime, and plant capacity
  • Report conclusions to Maintenance Supervisor and make recommendations for improved programs and practices intended to prevent equipment failures
  • Participate in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies
  • Assist Facility repairs as and when required
  • Support machine relocation (Disconnection and re-commissioning)

Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering qualification (electrical)
  • Experience in a face-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to root cause analysis/problem solving processes
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
