Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's manufacturing team. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Electrical fault finding and repairs
  • CNC and PLC fault finding and repairs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor systems such as Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability-Centred Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and FMEA programs
  • Conduct analysis and investigations using Failure Mode Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys) on equipment failures that affect product quality, equipment uptime and plant capacity
  • Report conclusions to Maintenance Supervisor and make recommendations for improved programs and practices intended to prevent equipment failures
  • Participate in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies
  • Assist Facility repairs as and when required
  • Support machine relocation (Disconnection and re-commissioning)

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering qualification (electrical)
  • Experience in a face-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to root cause analysis/problem solving processes
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Electrical Maintenance Engineer, CNC, PLC
