Inclusive Activities Assistant

This Support Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
You will work closely with our volunteers and other staff members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Build relationships with participants and help them feel valued and respected.
- Assist in planning and preparing for craft days, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Provide support and guidance to participants during craft sessions.
- Work collaboratively with volunteers to ensure the needs of all participants are met.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of craft activities and materials.
Monday: 2 hours (optional) - Training and preparation
Friday: 3 hours - Supporting and teaching participants
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 per year, based on national averages.
