Job Description

Spire Cheshire Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join their Inpatient Bookings team.

We provide high-quality treatments for our patients, and are extremely proud to be rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for our private hospital care. You can get fast access to expert healthcare, from consultations and diagnosis to treatment and aftercare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an efficient admissions booking system for all in-patients and day-case patients. This will include:

  • Liaising with patients and hospital departments to ensure full and accurate communication regarding the patients' admission and stay
  • Ensuring systems are in place for smooth processing of all NHS referrals, including waiting list transfers and breach dates
  • Receiving and processing all bookings for admissions and reserving beds and theatre time accordingly
  • Communicating relevant information regarding the patients' stay to the appropriate hospital departments
  • Cancelling bookings as requested by Consultants or patients and notifying all relevant hospital departments
