About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support our small pub group across two sites in Hampshire.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and supervising staff across the two locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and train staff.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
