About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support our small pub group in Hampshire. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and supervising staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using locally sourced produce
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure excellent service
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe working environment
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate, a minimum of 40 hours work per week, and potential for overtime. Accommodation is provided, but having a car is essential as accommodation is not on-site.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience as a Sous Chef, excellent cooking skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be able to commute to the location.
