About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support our small pub group across two sites in Hampshire. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and supervising staff across the two locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking
  • Supervise kitchen staff across two locations
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to create innovative menus using locally sourced produce
  • Ensure high-quality food standards are maintained across both sites
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for overtime. You will work a minimum of 40 hours over 5 days, with potential for additional hours. Accommodation is provided, and a car is essential for traveling between sites.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
