About Our Team

We are a dynamic and dedicated team of healthcare professionals at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust, working together to deliver exceptional patient care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dietetic services to patients in various clinical settings.

Your main duties will include conducting outpatient clinics, performing home visits, and providing group education for patients and staff. You will also work closely with the acute dietetic team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, offering opportunities for shadowing and learning from specialist colleagues.

As a valued member of our team, you will have access to ongoing professional development and support. You will also have opportunities to engage in home working and virtual/telephone consultations, as well as participate in service development projects, research, and audit.

The department is involved in the training of student dietitians and assistant practitioners, and you will play an essential role in this once you have completed appropriate training.

Person SpecificationQualifications
  • BSc Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent qualification
  • Current HCPC registration in Dietetics (or pending)
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
  • Good clinical knowledge in general Dietetics
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to reflect and appraise own performance
