The role of a Fertility Nurse Specialist at TFP Fertility involves working with sub-fertile couples before, during, and after treatment cycles. This includes developing a therapeutic environment to meet the individual needs of each couple, ensuring informed consent is given, and providing information and implications counselling to enable couples to make informed choices regarding their treatment.
We offer a comprehensive range of treatments, including IVF, ICSI, ovulation induction, egg donation, surrogacy, and surgical sperm retrieval. Our clinicians are internationally renowned specialists, and we regularly share knowledge across our clinics to further improve our success rates.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing clinical competence in ART skills, including planning and coordinating treatment cycles, undertaking specific investigations, and assisting in the management and support of sub-fertile couples.
- Providing patient consultations before, during, and post-treatment cycles, ensuring that informed consent is given, and appropriate unit and Human Fertilisation Embryology Authority consent forms are completed.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills, providing information and implications counselling to enable couples to make informed choices regarding their treatment.
- Ensuring that procedures/policies are in place so that emergency/crisis situations are managed with competence, and patients/relatives and staff members are adequately supported during and after the event.
This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, with weekends on rotation required. The salary is competitive, depending on experience, and includes a dual contribution pension scheme and 27 days' holiday entitlement plus bank holidays.
