Job Description

This position involves working as a member of the pre-school team, demonstrating initiative and creativity to create an environment that encourages children's all-round development and provides high standards of care.

The ideal candidate would be a driver or reside in the local area, considering how they would travel to and from the site before applying.

Vacancy Details
  • Work with a small group of pre-school children alongside a classroom teacher.
  • Engage children in play-focused learning activities.
  • Prepare resources.
  • Be a reliable team member, working cooperatively and flexibly.
  • Monitor each child's progress and report on achievements, seeking progression and continuity.
  • Develop excellent communication with parents/carers, encouraging their participation in their child's progress and development.
  • Assist in creating a stimulating and attractive environment.
  • Assist in the care, maintenance, and security of all equipment and toys within the pre-school.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Participate in self-development activities, including appraisals.
  • Build positive relationships with other staff members.
  • Share responsibility for health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the pre-school.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency and security procedures.
  • Possess good ICT, Literacy, and Numeracy skills.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances by working flexibly and independently.
