Thrifty Car & Van Rental is seeking an Insurance Claims Examiner to join our team. As an Insurance Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for assessing and determining whether damage incurred during a rental is chargeable to the customer or the client's insurance company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept and process all new claims from insurers, confirming appropriate cover
- Contact our branch network or renters to gather comprehensive information about alleged incidents for appropriate response
- Ensure any new claims from the branch network that include personal injury are promptly submitted to our insurer with full supporting documentation
- Identify non-fault claims where we can recover losses from a third party or their insurer
- Address customer queries via phone or email regarding their uninsured losses

Requirements:
