Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
Riverside Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our commercial sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the business in the Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Hereford, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the energy fuel and lubricant distribution industry and be able to maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, building networks, and participating in professional societies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Requirements:
* Previous sales and account management experience
* Strong communication skills and computer literacy
* Excellent geographical knowledge of the business/territory area
* Knowledge of business products
* Ability to write and tailor business proposals and presentations
