Job Description

HTS Spares is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team in Hereford. As a leading Construction Machinery Parts Distributor, we offer a unique opportunity to develop and manage our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage an existing customer database to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Qualify and convert marketing leads into sales opportunities, working closely with the sales team to guide customers through their journey.
  • Source and develop new leads within the market, leveraging industry knowledge and relationships to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure accurate customer information and sales tracking.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support customers' journeys, providing expert guidance and product knowledge to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a driven, tenacious, and friendly individual with a passion for learning and customer development. About you:

  • Previous experience in business development or a customer-facing role would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Educated to GCSE level (with minimum C or equivalent in Maths and English), demonstrating a solid foundation in core subjects.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability and interest in learning product details and technical specs, demonstrating a willingness to develop your knowledge and expertise.
  • Pleasant and approachable nature, with a strong customer focus and service ethic.
