Supply Chain Performance Manager

Key Responsibilities

The role of Supply Chain Performance Manager involves leading a small team and sitting within UK Operations, Customer Business, reporting to the Performance & Reporting Manager.

Key tasks include:

  • Verifying and validating invoice costs to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Enhancing budget modelling and tracking costs to highlight potential financial risks and manage them proactively.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure robust processes and procedures are in place that contribute to the delivery of ScottishPower's strategic objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of procurement and contracting processes, with previous involvement in commercial tender events and contract disputes/negotiations.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels of the business, including the external supply chain and regulatory bodies.
  • Project management experience: Planning, organizing and executing projects within the supply chain.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex data trends to generate insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the UK Energy Market and Smart Metering Infrastructure.
