Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Builder to join our dynamic team at Finsdale Construction. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality construction and renovation projects to premium standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out or manage a variety of construction tasks, including site preparation, groundsworks, foundations, bricklaying, carpentry, flooring, concrete work, steel structural work, insulation and damp proofing, plaster boarding, and painting.
  • Manage others, such as labourers, to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Uphold high standards of presentation and housekeeping on site.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and sub-contractors to achieve project goals.
  • Perform tasks in preparation for trades such as electrical, roofing, and plumbing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Inspect and assess the quality of work done to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of construction tools.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.

What We Offer

We are a growing company with a proactive approach to internal development. We offer a competitive salary of £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year, and a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

SSSTS/SMSTS or similar certification is preferred.
