Freelance Interpreter Required for UK Assignments

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to work with us on a freelance basis, providing high-quality interpreting services to clients across the UK.
As a freelance interpreter with Language Empire, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, including face-to-face, telephone, and video interpreting.
Our clients include public and private sector organizations, such as the NHS, local authorities, and police forces, who require interpreters to facilitate communication with non-English speakers.
As an interpreter with Language Empire, you will be responsible for interpreting in a range of settings, including legal, health, and local government services.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
- Ensuring the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
- Consecutive and public service interpreting
- Dealing with highly confidential information
- Liaising between the service user and service provider
To be successful in this role, you will need to be fluent in English and another language, have the right to work in the UK, and be aged 21 or over.
Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
