We are seeking a skilled Interpreter Translator to join our team at Language Empire. As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various clients across the UK, providing high-quality interpreting services in a range of settings.

About The Job

As an Interpreter Translator, you will be responsible for interpreting and translating languages for clients in the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations. You will work independently, using your own equipment and resources, and will be required to have a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpreting and translating languages for clients in a range of settings
  • Working independently, using your own equipment and resources
  • Providing high-quality interpreting services with 100% accuracy
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaising between service users and service providers
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered, or Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
