About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Management Officer to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our Energy Management Team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality and comprehensive Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and rectify heating problems using BEMS systems
  • Evaluate energy-saving initiatives and develop strategies to reduce energy consumption
  • Investigate high energy consumption and identify areas of excessive wastage
  • Promote the Energy Management Team and its services to clients and other organizations
  • Assist in developing and implementing energy management standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with the Energy Team Leader and colleagues to improve working methods and develop effective working relationships with other departments

Requirements

  • Hold a valid UK driving license
  • HNC/HND in Electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with Trend and other BEMS manufacturers
  • Working knowledge of System Link software
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in or with schools
