Job Description

Capita is seeking a highly skilled Building Condition Surveyor to join our team in Staffordshire. As a key member of our Property Department, you will be responsible for conducting thorough condition surveys on schools and public buildings, identifying potential problem areas, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive condition surveys on schools and public buildings to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
  • Liaise with schools and premise managers to gather information and provide expert advice on property condition and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of condition surveys, including photographs, reports, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other property teams within Capita to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication.
  • Assist in the development of the Asset Management Plan (AMP) process and project prioritization.
  • Support the identification and scoping of potential projects, project briefing, and project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum HND in a construction-related discipline.
  • Preferred RICS Accredited degree in building surveying or equivalent.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience in completing condition surveys across commercial, education, or healthcare property portfolios.
