Job Overview

TXM Recruit Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Services Supervisor to join our team in the Chertsey, Surrey area. This exciting role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, with opportunities for overtime and career progression.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the installation of plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems by in-house maintenance teams, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within a timely manner.
  • Liaise with departments to arrange maintenance works in various properties, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Provide expert advice on equipment, materials, methods, and procedures, serving as a point of contact for day-to-day queries and problems.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering parts and equipment as needed, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Proven experience and knowledge of building maintenance and mechanical installations, including AHUs and FCUs.
  • City and Guilds Domestic Plumbing and Heating qualifications, including Level 1 and 2, and Advanced Level 3.
  • Commercial gas qualifications, such as CoDNCO1, TPCP, ICPN1, CDGA1, and CCCN1.
  • Strong working knowledge of gas appliances and being Gas Safe certified.
  • Able to produce clear, concise written reports, plans, and operational procedures using Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and planning skills, with a flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
