Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Service Lead to join our team at oilandgas. As a Technical Service Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  2. Operational Oversight: Oversee field service operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Scheduling and Assignment: Assign and schedule field service technicians to meet customer demands and service level agreements.
  4. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support for complex technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs, and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  6. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for field service technicians and customers to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent, with some experience in the field.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Niagara, BacNet, or Honeywell EBI, and experience working with HVAC systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Experience: 5 years plus experience working with HVAC systems, and 5 years experience plus with Building Automation Systems (BAS), including over 2 years of experience installing and programming BAS equipment.
  • Soft Skills: Previous industry experience, understanding of BAS (Fire Systems), previous technical/installation experience, previous customer service experience, good written and oral communication, ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes, and good presentation skills.
