Job Summary:

Ross Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting mobility equipment, servicing and repairing powered and manual wheelchairs, and ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing mobility equipment in the field, with a focus on achieving a first-time fix whenever possible.
  • Delivering and collecting mobility equipment to and from service users' homes and healthcare facilities, adhering to our infection control policy.
  • Completing accurate and detailed paperwork for each job, including parts used and actions taken.
  • Maintaining a professional customer service attitude and adhering to our company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient use of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to maintain the skills required for this role.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Successful enhanced DBS check.
  • Awareness and understanding of people with disabilities.
  • Flexible approach to working conditions and working environment changes.
  • Ability to use a mobile phone to relay photographs.
  • Basic computer skills for diagnostic purposes.
