SEN Support Professional

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Support Professional to join our team in Hull. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with educators to provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs.

This role requires a deep understanding of SEN principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored support to students with SEN, both individually and in small groups.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
  • Prepare resources and assist students during lessons, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing essential life skills and independence.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Education or Psychology, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students, either in a school or other educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
