Teaching Assistant for Children with Disabilities

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. As a Teaching Assistant for Children with Disabilities, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and care of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children with SEND in our Early Years provision
- Collaborating with the class teacher to develop personalized activity plans
- Providing learning and care support to children with SEND
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with SEND, particularly those with Autism and/or Speech, Language and Communication Needs. You will be responsible for supporting the children to achieve their full potential academically, as well as assisting them with transitions, routines, and developing their communication, social and interaction skills and emotional development.
The estimated salary for this position is £22,595 - £23,693 per annum (pro-rata). Folkestone Girls' School is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all staff and students.
