Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Helping Hands. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting adults of all ages to maintain their independence and stay in the place they know and love.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as showering, bathing, and toileting
  • Help with mobility around the home, including transfers and mobilisation
  • Oversee medication and provide medical support as needed
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and tidying
  • Run errands, such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
