About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Designer to join our team in Surrey. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and managing the design process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical drawings for drywall and ceiling construction projects
  • Manage the design process, ensuring compliance with current CDM Regulations and applicable laws
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Attend site meetings to coordinate and resolve technical issues
  • Produce comprehensive drawing packages and take-off schedules
Requirements
  • UK-based experience in creating 2D & 3D detailed CAD drawings for the construction industry
  • Experience in Interior Fit-out or Architectural discipline with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADDuct, Inventor, or AEC and 3D CAD
  • Working knowledge of planning/building control issues/regulations
  • Minimum 2-5+ years' experience in a commercial office fit-out environment
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary from £30,000 to £50,000 based on experience, as well as a range of benefits including pension, 23 days per year plus bank holidays, and the opportunity to gain experience & training and gain more responsibility with this family run SME in an idyllic rural part of Surrey.

You will need the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship of overseas candidates is not available.
