Job Summary

As an IT Support Assistant at EngineeringUK, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our colleagues and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare, allocate, and maintain IT equipment throughout the warehouse for both internal use and shipment to internal customers.
  2. Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of repairs, ensuring that their questions are answered and they are satisfied with the work completed.
  3. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, imaging system, and network problems, identifying the appropriate escalation resources, testing proposed fixes, and following up to ensure the problem has been resolved.
  4. Project Management: Manage small projects within the warehouse, working within a small team, coordinating activities, and supporting multiple concurrent goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have experience supporting Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting, as well as experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
  • Qualifications: Should possess CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
